OLC Workshops

Online Learning Consortium institutational membership logoWorkshops offered by the Online Learning Consortium (OLC) run approximately 9-16 days and are asynchronous (self-paced). Two live sessions are offered and recorded for each workshop. Upon completion, participants will receive a Certificate of Completion from OLC.

Faculty who have taught online for less than 3 years are encouraged to take New to Online: The Essentials and New to Online: Putting Your Content Online. The full list of workshops includes 40+ workshops.

ODL sponsors these workshops on a competitive basis. (Please note: we do not sponsor workshops for the OLC Online Teaching Certificates or Mastery Series.)


IT Training Workshops

ITS provides Mason faculty, staff, and students with a broad range of technology training resources.

  • Workshops provide a group learning experience for acquiring basic to intermediate skills in selected topics, including Blackboard Courses 9.1 Basics, Blackboard Collaborate, Kaltura, and more. See workshops.gmu.edu for more information.
