Bringing Mason to more learners

George Mason University is Virginia’s largest public research university. Located near Washington, D.C., Mason enrolls more than 33,000 students from 130 countries and all 50 states. Mason has grown rapidly over the past half-century and is recognized for its innovation and entrepreneurship, remarkable diversity, and commitment to accessibility.

As the home of Mason Online, the Office of Digital Learning (ODL) supports all students, faculty, and staff interested in the online teaching and learning experience at Mason. Students can take many online courses at home, while stationed abroad, or while traveling. Faculty members at Mason have the opportunity to explore and develop professionally in a new modality. Online courses maintain the same academic rigor and integrity offered in campus-based courses.
